
Simona Arkorful (she/hers) is a research fellow in the Delgado Lab. She is a graduate of Howard University, where she earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology. As previous NIH U-RISE Scholar and ABRCMS award-winning researcher, she explored the relationship between perceived racism, inflammation, and health outcomes in African American communities. Simona plans to earn her PhD in Health Psychology. Her interests lie at the intersection of health equity, behavioral science, and inclusive human-centered health technology.
